 The Third Age Trust is the national representative body for the Universities of the Third Age (U3As) in the UK. They currently have 614 U3As with a total of 167373 members.
The U3A website has both public and members only areas and was developed using Mambo content management system to enable them to maintain the website themselves. More recently I have upgraded and migrated the content and components from Mambo over to Joomla.
