Cross-browser issues | Cross-browser compatibility |
|
I work very hard to make sure that all the websites and templates I develop are not only w3c XHTML and CSS compliant and accessible but also cross-browser compatible. All my work is hand coded and because of this and my knowlege and experience I understand the reasons why different browsers render web pages differently. This means that as I am hand coding I automatically code for both browsers from the start so there is normally minimal tweaking that needs to be done. Although my preferred platform for working is a Mac as a Windows user for many years I completely understand the importance of ensuring my websites and templates are cross-browser and cross-platform compatible and look the same in different browsers on both Windows PCs and Macs. I have a Mac and several Windows PCs so I am able to fully test all my work during development. I often work with a Mac plus 2 laptops on my desk so I can continually check for any cross-browser or cross-platform issues. As standard all my sites are tested on (and coded for)
