We will create your custom Joomla template from either a design concept you have provided. If you require us to create your design concept please make sure you have checked the design concept service option below instead.

Your template will include styling for the default Joomla extensions (components, modules and plug-ins). Inclusions and styling of any other extensions is subject to additional charge. If you are unsure of what the default Joomla extensions are please contact us for further information. Please also see Template Extras.

Ideally your design will be in layered Photoshop PSD files which are to scale or existing HTML and CSS with individual images as required by your template design.

Screenshots and concept of your design should include

• Home page
• An article page showing styling for headings, fonts, lists etc
• Category blog and/or list
• Contact us page
• Menus, login, search etc
• Module styles
• Styling required for any extensions
• Details of fonts to be used, colours etc.

If you only have flattened and/or not to scale PSD, JPEG or PNG files I can still use those but there will be more work involved in creating your template and the cost may increase. Designs can also be provided as HTML.

After discussing your requirements with you we will design your website, recommend a website structure and build your custom Joomla template. This service includes

• screenshots of home page, category page and article page or template prototype
• creating template graphics (excludes site content graphics)
• install and configure your template on a existing Joomla website

The ability to use tabs and sliders in your article pages.

The ablility to have a pop-up login/register module activated by clicking on a login/register text link.

Includes styling for pop-up login/register.

The ability to showcase featured, latest or a set category of articles, usually on your home page.

Includes styling for your article showcase.

The ability to showcase or rotate images in a rotating header graphic, usually on your home page.

Includes styling for your showcase or image rotator.

The ability to display a Google map showing your location.

All custom templates come with default Joomla CSS styled horizontal drop down menus but if you would like a more fancy menu with movement effects, multiple columns, links with images and modules displayed in the horiztontal drop down such as the login module or search module then this option is for you.

Template overrides for all default Joomla extensions are already included in the price of your template but if your 3rd party extension designs requires more than just CSS styling changes then a template override may be required. Template overrides are charged per view required to be modified and styled.

For example

Joomla's user login module (mod_login) has two views the default login view and the logout view. If you wanted to change the layout of the login module then you would be charged for two views at £35.00 each which would total £70.00.

Please note that you would only require an override if you needed to change the structure of the module. Simple styling changes such as shape and colour of module, buttons, text etc would be covered by the module styling option.

Styling for all default Joomla extensions is already included in the price of your template and many 3rd party extensions make use of Bootstrap for their styling, in which case they will automatically pick up the styles used by your custom template but if they don't and you require styling please select the number of extensions you need styled.

Styling consists of making changes to existing CSS only.

Full extension themes for components such as Virtuemart include customising the layout and format, custom icons, custom category pages etc. Most full extension themes will cost £350.00 but prices range from £245.00 to £490.00 depending on the amount of work required.
