- Upgrade of Joomla from 2.5.x to 3.x
- Create a backup and create a mirror website
- Carryout website check
- Install upgrade Joomla
- Install upgrades any agree extensions (up to 5 components)
- Test site and investigate any compatibility issues
- Move mirror site back to live site
- Final tests
This does not include upgrading any 3rd party extensions. Extension upgrades from £5.00 each if upgrading at the same time as upgrading Joomla. It is important to make sure that all extensions are up to date before upgrading Joomla. If our audit reveals that an extension in use is not available or compatible with Joomla 3 then you will be offered the option of removal of the extension. The fee for carrying out the audit and upgrade is payable in two parts. The first payment is £135.00 and is for the audit. The second payment is for the upgrade.
Please note that some Joomla 2 templates and extensions are not compatible with Joomla 3 and may require updating, uninstalling or replacing.

When upgrading and migrating from earlier versions of DOCman, if absent document alias's may be to be automatically generated. There can be issues where there are multiple documents with the same title. Any additional work required to resolve issues such as this will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
DOCman 2 varies significantly to DOCman 1.6 and previous version so please check any available demos so that you are aware of the differences.
