When I'm trying to source a product, or service, I like to be able visit a website and see exactly what the company or person has done and how much the product or service is going to cost me. If I can't see prices, I wonder if they will make it up, depending on how much they think they can get away with charging. With that in mind, and so we don't waste each others time, I have tried to be as open and transparent as possible, in both the services that I provide and the costs involved. I see no point in showing cheap pricing, only to find ways to increase the price later. I have my charges and you have your budget. I have provided a Joomla Website Price Calculator, so you can see how much your website will cost.

There are things that can increase the cost of your development. The first is Pro and Bespoke templates that incorporate a higher level of extension integration, template overrides and styling. The second is organisations needing a high level of meetings, market research, UX IU, SEO and marketing.

Another area that can increase or reduce cost, depending on your choice, is styling and layout of individual pages. The home page, contact us page, category pages and other important key landing pages are always included, but there are often many more pages of content, especially if you have a large website, that would benefit from a designers eye and technical skill. Some clients, who are on a limited budget, may prefer me to just create a few layout templates, for them to reuse, whereas clients with a larger budget, prefer me to work on all their content, or large parts of it.

Once you have looked through my services, portfolio and pricing and are happy that I can provide the services you need within, your budget,  I will be happy to provide you with a detailed, written, quotation and proposal. This clearly shows all the costs involved, including any ongoing costs such as hosting and annual subscription fees for extensions etc., which may be required if your site includes commercial components.

I pride myself on putting my best into each project. I work with you and aim to build a long-term working relationship. During the 25 plus years, that I have been designing and building websites, I have seen a lot of sites and online businesses come and go. I have a wealth of experience, that I am happy to share with you and advise and guide you in the right direction. It might not always be what you want to hear, but if I think something won't work, I think you're wasting your time and money, or it could be done a better way, I will tell you.

I am usually booked 4-6 weeks ahead, for full custom Joomla website development projects and 2-3 weeks ahead for custom template work and training, so please keep this in mind when planning your project. Historically certain times of the year tend to be busier or quieter than others. January to April/May is historically very busy, whereas July to September is usually quiet.
