- This service does include updating Joomla to the latest stable release for your version (version are on 3.10.1 we will update to the latest stable version of Joomla 3), but it does not include upgrading from one version to another e.g from Joomla 2.5 to 3, or Joomla 3 to 4.
- This service does not include installing updates or upgrading any 3rd party extensions. To secure your website all extensions will need to be up to date and this may also require a current subscription for commercial extensions. If this is the case for your website, any additional work will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
- Updating Joomla where core Joomla files have been modified. Modifying core Joomla files or core extensions files is unnessary and bad practice, but it is sometimes done by inexperienced developers who do not understand Joomla or how customisations should be made. If your core Joomla files have been modified, installing a Joomla update is likely to overwrite these modifications. We are not responsible for any loss in functionality, or layout, caused by installing the update. Any additional time spent unhacking or updating your website, because of core modifications will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
- Once you have placed your order will confirm and request the required login information for us to carry out the un-hack. Our turnaround time starts once you have placed and paid for your order and provided the required information.
- Any additional work required, will not be started until we have explained what needs to be done, the cost and how long it should take to complete.

We will not carry out an modifications to core code of Joomla or any third party extensions. Only book this service if you have a standard, unmodified install.

Any custom built extensions will be installed on your new website subject to an installable extension being available to us. We would recommend that you seek confirmation from the original developer that their extension is secure before installing it on your new website.

Cost of scan, clean and rebuild site from £795.00
- This cost includes updating Joomla to the latest stable release for your version e.g 3.6.0 to 3.10.3 (or whatever the latest release is at the time), but does not include upgrading from one version to another i.e not from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4. We can do this, but there may be an additional charge.
- This service includes installing up to 5 third party components/extensions, up to 5 third party modules and up to 5 third party plugins. Third party extensions may also require a current subscription for commercial extensions. For additional installs there may be an additional charge.
